These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and N-E-L-L-I-E-R-A-E-L-I-F-E-S-T-Y-L-E, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Lavender Lounge mobile application (iOS and Android) and related services (the “Service”).
Mandatory agreement. You must agree to these Terms before registering, logging in, or using the Service. In the app, users who have not accepted the current Terms version are shown a blocking Terms acceptance screen and cannot continue until they accept. By creating an account, accepting the Terms in-app, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to the then-current Terms.
1. Eligibility (18+)
Lavender Lounge is for adults only. To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- Provide accurate and truthful information, including date of birth for 18+ eligibility (self-attested)
We do not offer parental controls or in-app age-assurance product features beyond self-attested 18+ eligibility. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate that account.
2. Nature of the service
Lavender Lounge is a social and dating platform designed to help users connect with others for companionship, community, and conversation.
- We do not guarantee matches or relationship outcomes
- We do not verify user identities or backgrounds
- User interactions occur at your own discretion
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
Lavender Lounge has ZERO TOLERANCE for objectionable content and abusive users.
There is zero tolerance for:
- Objectionable, abusive, harassing, hateful, or threatening content or behavior
- Sexual exploitation, violent content, or illegal activity
- Spam, scams, fraud, or commercial solicitation that violates these Terms
- Impersonation of another person or entity
- Underage content or any attempt by a minor to use the Service
- Abusive users who harm, intimidate, or repeatedly mistreat others
Violations result in removal of the offending content and ejection, suspension, or permanent ban of the account. Repeat or severe violations lead to permanent removal from the Service. This is not discretionary soft language: zero-tolerance violations are enforced.
4. User-generated content
Lavender Lounge includes user-generated content (“UGC”), including:
- Profile information and photos
- Direct (1:1) chat messages and media
- Community / group chat messages
You retain ownership of content you upload. You are solely responsible for content you post and for your interactions with other users.
By posting content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service, and to moderate, hide, restrict, or remove it.
5. Filtering and moderation of objectionable content
Lavender Lounge uses a combination of:
- Automated / keyword / systems filtering where applicable
- User reports
- Human review by the developer and moderation team
to filter, hide, restrict, or remove objectionable content.
6. Reporting objectionable content
You can flag or report objectionable content in the app:
- Report User — from another member’s profile menu
- Report Photo — from the photo viewer
- Report Message / Community Message — from chat long-press or the message menu
Report reasons include: Spam, Harassment, Hate speech, Sexual content, Violence, Impersonation, Underage, and Other (with optional details). Reports are sent to the developer for review.
7. Blocking abusive users
You can Block or Unblock a user from that user’s profile menu and related safety surfaces. Blocking:
- Immediately removes or hides that user’s content from your feed and experience (including profiles, discovery, and chats, as technically enforced)
- Prevents further contact from the blocked user where technically enforced
- Creates a safety signal for the developer / moderation workflow (and you may also submit a report)
You can manage blocked accounts in Settings → Blocked Users.
8. Developer action within 24 hours
Upon receiving a valid report of objectionable content or abusive behavior, the developer will review and take appropriate action within 24 hours, including where warranted:
- Removing the offending content
- Ejecting, suspending, or permanently banning the user who provided the offending content
- Preserving evidence as needed for safety and legal compliance
9. Safety & reporting summary
To keep Lavender Lounge respectful and safe:
- Use Report on profiles, photos, or messages when you see something that violates these Terms
- Use Block on a user’s profile to hide them from your experience and stop further contact where enforced
- Email info@lavenderlounge.app as a backup channel for abuse reports, safety concerns, privacy requests, or legal notices
10. Account suspension, termination, and ejection
You may delete your account at any time.
Violation of the zero-tolerance / UGC rules in these Terms may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban. Offending content may be removed without prior notice.
We may also suspend or terminate accounts that threaten safety, misuse the platform, or otherwise violate these Terms.
Data deletion
Users may request deletion of their Lavender Lounge account and associated personal data at any time. To delete your account, open the Lavender Lounge app and go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, then follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion.
If you are unable to access your account, contact us at info@lavenderlounge.app with your registered email address or phone number and request account and data deletion.
Once a deletion request is confirmed, applicable account and personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and data retention practices. Certain information (including report and moderation records) may be retained where required by law or for legitimate legal, security, safety, or fraud-prevention purposes.
11. Disclaimers
Lavender Lounge is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees regarding:
- Match success
- User behavior
- Accuracy of user-provided information
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lavender Lounge and N-E-L-L-I-E-R-A-E-L-I-F-E-S-T-Y-L-E, LLC are not liable for:
- User conduct or offline interactions
- Losses arising from use of the app
- Unauthorized access beyond reasonable safeguards
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material updates may require you to accept the new Terms version in the app (blocking acceptance screen) before you can continue using the Service. Continued use after acceptance or after notice constitutes agreement to the then-current Terms. The Last Updated date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
